At WCC we strongly believe in the value of partnerships and connections.
As we partner together with a variety of ministries from different streams locally, nationally and globally; we really believe we can make a bigger impact for God’s kingdom.
We truly are, stronger together!
Local Partnership
CARE
CARE is an organisation we are linked with whose mission it is to alleviate poverty across the NE lincs. CARE runs a food larder (Foodbank) at different locations across the region.
At WCC, we serve as the food larder access point for the Freshney Ward/ West Grimsby area.
Food larder access is available on Tuesdays 10am-12pm and Thursdays 10am-12pm.
Local Partnership
Salvation Army GY
At WCC we have had strong historic links with the Salvation Army GY.
The Salvation army run a number of localised outreaches on Monday and Thursday’s based at our site on Wingate road.
The Salvation Army team run mother’s and toddlers groups, called Music tots (Monday 9.30-11.15am) and Play tots (Thursday 10-11.15am).
They also run an all ages fellowship group on a Monday at 1pm.
National Partnership
AoG
We are affiliated to the Assemblies of God GB, which is a nationwide, Pentecostal denomination comprising of over 550 like-minded churches across the UK that believe in the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit.
National Partnership
Bridge church Lincoln
We are part of an emerging, relational network of churches called the Bridge Family of churches.
This comprises of the Bridge church Lincoln, South Lincs church (Ruskington) and Willows CC. Under the ministry of Dave Wade and the team in Lincoln, we are partnered together in seeing God’s kingdom expand across Lincolnshire.
As a church, we receive mentorship, training, equipping and strategic ministry support from our friends at the Bridge Church Lincoln. We minister together as a family of churches, sharing a common, kingdom-heart, values-driven approach, family ethos, community focus and a ‘partnership without ownership’ mentality.
Pastor Dave Wade is also a trustee at WCC.
International Partnership
Destiny CC
We are relationally connected to the ministry of Pastor Lawrence Neisent (Lead Pastor) and the team at Destiny Christian Centre, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. As churches we carry a similar heart and ethos.
Pastor Lawrence and the team have been a great support and encouragement to the Willows Church family through on-going prayer, mentorship and church resources. Pastor Simon has a strong, mentoring relationship with Pastor Lawrence.
